Terms of Service

1. About Eventra.team

Eventra.team is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent event service vendors including photographers, DJs, caterers, decorators, venues, rental suppliers, and event planners. We act solely as an intermediary platform — we are not a party to any service agreement between a customer and a vendor.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking. By using Eventra.team you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at Geteventra@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account.

4. Bookings and Payments

When a customer makes a booking through Eventra.team:

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe and held by Eventra.team until the event is completed.
• Vendor payouts are released after the event date, subject to any active disputes.
• Eventra.team charges a platform commission (shown at checkout) deducted from the vendor payout.
• All prices on the platform are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

5. Escrow & Customer Protection

Your booking payment is held in escrow until after your event date. If a vendor fails to show up or does not deliver the agreed service, you may raise a dispute within 48 hours of the event. Eventra.team will review the dispute and may issue a full or partial refund at its discretion. This protection applies only to bookings paid through the Eventra.team platform — off-platform payments are not covered.

6. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors who list services on Eventra.team agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of services, pricing, and availability.
• Complete accepted bookings as agreed with the customer.
• Maintain appropriate licences, insurance, and permits required for their services.
• Not solicit customers to pay outside of the Eventra.team platform.
• Undergo identity verification before receiving payouts.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Attempt to conduct transactions or communications outside of the platform to avoid fees.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or reviews.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without written permission.

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms depend on the vendor's stated policy and the timing of the cancellation. Please review the Refund Policy for details. Eventra.team platform fees are generally non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.

9. Reviews

Reviews must be honest, first-hand accounts of the experience. Incentivised, fake, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited. Eventra.team may moderate or remove reviews at its discretion without notice.

10. Intellectual Property

Vendors retain ownership of content they upload (photos, videos, descriptions). By uploading content you grant Eventra.team a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and promote that content on the platform and in marketing materials.

11. Limitation of Liability

Eventra.team is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by vendors, nor for any disputes between customers and vendors beyond the escrow and dispute process described above. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Eventra.team after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
